Sebastian Bach needs money...

$4000 for a leather jacket. I don't care who owned it but it's totally not worth 4 grand!! Amazing how people will put out major buckage for a piece of memorabilia, though it looks like no one is bidding.

If I could justify buying it for 4g's I'd bid on it. Like you said that's a lot of dough. Isn't an auction supposed to start off low and work it's way up?!

$4000 for a used sweated, smoked leather jacket? With a Motley Crue logo?

That's 250 CDs wasted of money

NP: Wolf - 'The Dead'

Maybe he doesn't need the money. Maybe it just doesn't fit anymore. Maybe he's cleaning out his closet(s). Of course if he didn't need the money then he could donate it to a charity auction. Maybe he just wants the money? Maybe VH1 just pays him scale and no more.

I suppose you can look at it that way, but it's a piece of that band's history....

Not a band I would consider Legendary... none of the hairbands were... they were mediocre entertainers whose music does not have much value in the history of music... good song here and there but nothing special imo... I don't think you would see their memoribilia much if at all in any Hard Rock Cafe or Rock museum for a reason... the fact that no diehard fan has bid on it says that much so about them...

Maybe he is like most musicians who blow their royalties on drugs and chicks thinking they will be on top forever in the rock world and came crashing down realizing they were just a blip the came and went and should of invested some of their money... Rockstars aren't really good businessmen except for a few (Gene Simmons, Lars ulrich, Mick Jagger, Paul Mcartney etc.) ....

or maybe i heard he was auctioning off a bunch of stuff he didn't want anymore because he bought a bunch of new stuff and his closet was full. bach still has plenty of money. hell the band slaughter sold way less albums than skid row and both mark slaughter and dana strum have plenty

rock stars who have alot of money and want to get rid of stuff generally don't auction it off on a online version of a garage sale... they usually give it away to a friend or family member or give it to charity... Don't think that Bach is getting alot of royalties... bands in general do not get much per CD sold and I would say that Skid Row's album sales are insignificant anymore... most bands make money off of touring not CD sales (CD sales are just a bonus or icing on the cake)... hence why the Stones still tour because they are the biggest money making on the road band... each year the sales of Skid's albums are dwindling... it's not like they are selling 1 million albums a year of the old ones anymore... they are fading into memory... the true bands that make alot of money out of royalties are the classic bands that sell year after year of their classic albums... perfect example in my book is Pink Floyd... I know he doesn't do it anymore that i heard of but when you start whoring yourself on broadway and the Gilmore Girls i doubt you have much money and will do anything for money nowadays... I can't really comment on Slaughter other then to say that Dana Strum has a ear for talent.. he is credited with discovering Randy Rhoads and Jake E. Lee for Ozzy....
