That is correct. If they could play it, then they would have played it in the 1996 shows, however, they didn't, but they replaced it with a new riff instead.

Frankly, rather have them play really old stuff like Stand Ablaze...although they don't play Artifacts of the Black Rain enough (enough being 2 or 3 times a show). Honestly, if In Flames were to do a comprehensive setlist of all their best work the concert would be about 3 hours long...

That solo is pretty hard, based on the solo stuff bjorn and jesper do and the level on technique they have i must say they probably cant cut it live.

Actually, I think Bjorn could play that solo live if he wanted. I'm a guitarist, and I have noticed that he has improved his picking a lot in the last few years. He's definitely got the skills to do it. However, I think he doesn't even care to learn it because he didn't compose it. I wouldn't dare play it live if I were him.
