I have a lot of vinyl albums from the late 70s and most of the bands on the back of the sleeve look like that. It was simply the way people dressed that time.

The same thing with many of the bands in the mid 80s. Bands like Megadeth and Pantera are called hair bands because of they was they look. But again, it was the fashion back then.

It has little or nothing to do with the music. Still, looking at it now its a little weird to see them like that.

Had a pair of hand-me-down bell bottoms, but never had those shoes. Wow.

I am sure on some day in the 70s young Hawk looked like that. Including the shoes I am afraid. But without the mustache.

The clothes they're wearing are in fact rather conservative by 70's rock band standards. It could have been a lot worse.

I had nothing but bellbottoms and flares when I was in high school, some of them had a 2-3" cuff, corduroy, most jeans were just flaired. I would have killed for a pair of platforms... lol. Then I remember peg leg pants where the girls would sow their jeans and corduroys skin tight from the waist to the knees and then big bells. I prefered the unstyled long hair more like "hippy" look but it was typically just a matter of time before some girl and her mother got ahold of you and would say.... "you have such nice hair.... it would look so much better if you got it.... "styled" and next thing you know you would look like those guys. So we can blame all that on the girls.... lol

I didnt shave the stach very often until 2000 or so.

I still dont recogonize those names ???
