Semi-OT: Wolfmother

I am really digging the Wolfmother album, both musically and production-wise. It's vintagey but still clear and punchy. I would love to know what the recording process was like.

Anyone else like this stuff?

What's with all the new bands with "wolf" in their name? Next thing you know, Anal Cunt will be Wolf Cunt and SYL will be Strapping Young Wolf.

Never heard of them until just now, but checking them out and am digging it, gayish, but sounds like good politically correct bar music that I could actually live with...

So you'd describe Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath as gayish too? Not that I think Wolfmother is nearly as good as either one, but those are pretty much the major influences here.

I dig it. I don't take it too seriously, it's semi-comedic to me, almost like The Darkness, who I also am a fan of.

Man. I've never heard of this band and then yesterday and today students brough the disc in to learn a tune at work. I think it's cause of Choachella this last weekend.
