needs to get Max back .. that's it.

stop with this mediocre releases from both the Sep and Soulfly camps ... enough.

give me one last hurah ...

although the SOulfly tracks, with Araya and Son Song with Sean Lennon ... kicked ass.

I've never heard any Soulfly on CD, but I did see them at OzzFest once. Yeah, very lame.

Thing is, even if Max went back, they would do another Roots type album most probably, and I don't need that.

Sadly, they will never touch Beneath the Remains or Arise era again. If you ever pine for that style (but want something different), just go to Schizophrenia or Morbid Visions.

i am not expecting a new BTR, but I am sure something good will come of it.

Check out the songs, TERRORIST and SON SONG from Soulfly (this one is rather touchy, as both Max and Sean Lennon grew up without a father, and this song is about that) ... pretty cool

I would kill for another Roots. Sepultura has decent song writing and Max has good riffs. Combine the two once again please. Especially since aren't the two Cavaleras on speaking terms again?

Fuck Gloria Cavalera.

They are definitely missing that extra guitar, which doesn't help any. Even tho Dereck is learning guitar, but still even the old stuff don't sound quite the same live, so I hear.

I might get lynched :p but I thought Nation was a good album, revolusongs was decent covers (piranha proves that they still can thrash if they really wanted to) but Roorback is almost as bad as Against. I thought it was semi ok when I first heard Roorback but the more I hear the more I HATE it.

Sepultura will never be what they where with or without Max, even the quality won't be as good. I think they should just hang it up!!!

ON A SIDE NOTE:

It's really gotta be a real bum rap for Dereck, I mean come on he is 3-4 albums into the band and fans/media/general people all keeps askin about Max going back to Sepultura. Dereck isn't a bad singer, he just isn't a thrash singer.

Revolusongs was good ... the U2 cover was good and so was the Exo and Hellhammer ... but Sepultura's reputation should not be hanging on an EP of cover tunes.

All of you should check out Terrorist, the SOULFLY song (with Tom Araya) ... some cool lyrics in there straight out of some old Sep and Slayer songs.

Terrorist is one of the best songs from Soulfly, Son Sung too. In fact the Primitive album I do like even tho the alBUM has no direction at all.

Prejudice from Soulfly's first album is also a great song, damn now I gotta find that CD just so I can listen to that song again :p
