Serenity has become one of my favorite bands over these past few years. This is one of my most anticipated releases of 2011... Still disappointed they didn't end up playing PPIX.

Good, because Sonata Arctica's songwriting has been going downhill since Winterheart's Guild. Serenity's on the other hand, keeps on getting better.

Also, Serenity's fanbase has much fewer whiny-ass teenagers. Makes for a more fun live show.

Sounds like they're progressing more down the road they started on, and that makes me happy. I was listening to their first two albums the other day and wondering when we'd get something new.

I was bummed they didn't make it to PP that year. I hope they get booked again in the future.

Same here. I didn't like the first album at all, and when I heard the second one, HOLY SHIT!!! I need to revisit the debut now.

Winterheart's Guild was their last decent/good album. I love their first two albums (especially Silence).
