Any good session drummers out there? I tried contacting 006 about Lyle Cooper, but received no reply.

Looking for a traditional metal drummer for a future project and if anyone could point me in a direction it would be appreciated. Thanks!

whats your budget?

That's a great question! I guess I don't have one, but to a point lol. I don't know what a typical session drummer charges?

I looked around the net and seen a few guys, but they didn't seem to do the metal thing. Looked like they charged about $75.00 to $150.00 per song.

I don't think $200 is unrealistic per song for a quality player. Of course that would include him recording everything as well.

if you're interested I can put you in touch with my buddy Nick. He's right in your budget range and can play anything. PM your contact info if you like and I'll forward it to him if you're still looking

I work here at the studio with one of the best of the country, he´s got a degree in Percussion and Drums by Spanish conservatory (school of music). He plays from tech metal/hardcore/death...
He´s cheap and we could offer edited drums recorded with top analog equipment. Just let me know.
(Second drummer)
(no drum quantizing)

Well since i've finally bought some great drummicrophones (Audix DP5 package and Oktava MK012's as OH) i can definitely offer my services as a skilled studio drummer as well now. I will record some stuff the upcoming week so if i triggered anyone interested just hook me up :)

I am in search for a very skilled drummer that really does know how to record himself to a high quality standard. Paid job, I would like to do a try out before and would happily pay a small fee even for the try out if I don't know him/you (I would need to see or hear something before). My project is highly drums and vocals driven (guitars and bass are not too technical and I can handle them myself) so I am really looking for someone professional or close to, with good equipment and great recording skills as I don't have them. I have contacted Kevin Talley and am actually considering him, but the budget would delay me so much I am considering alternatives because he is expensive (which is no surprise). My project is serious and could involve some names if I can fish the good singer and mixer so hit me up by PM !
