Seven Witches - Deadly Sins

not sure what you mean with generic, but I guess it will be like all the 7 Witches albums : 1 or 2 good songs and the rest very mediocre material... Is Rivera still on vocals? I just hope the new Helstar stuff will rise far above his work with 7 witches...

The only 7 Witches cd I own is Passage to the Other Sides, and it's one of the most unremarkable cds I've ever heard.

...from what I've heard from them, and seen live (opening for SymX), I'd say generic is the perfect term for this band. Nothing new going on here, and yes, quite boring.

Funny...because Jack Frost thinks he's a rock star. :erk:

I think Passage to the Other Side is excellent, one of the best US metal albums of the '00s actually. Catchy fun and solid songs with Rivera's great vocals. He sings kinda differently on this one compared to his other recent output, in a more classic Dio way (minus the Halford imitation of Mental Messiah of course:)). Joey Vera of Armored Saint was also in the band at the time so I guess there was some kind of talent peak here and it shows.

Before and after Passage it's been all mediocrity, I agree.
