Seven Witches - Passage To The Other Side

I somewhat think this album is a step back for James Rivera. It's a solid release, but the way I see it what he was doing in Destiny's End was for more creative in the lyric, and style department. You mention in your review, Seven Witches isn't very creative or original. Well, Destiny's End was.

"Transition" from Destiny's End is far more original than this new Seven Witches CD, and Helstar "A Distant Thunder" and "Nosferatu" are classics, plain and simple.

Now, with Seven Witches, he's still a great vocalist. But it would've been better, in my opinion, if he was able to keep his own bands rolling.

Quality musicinals, a good release, just not very original.
