Shape of Despair

Shape of Despair is a very good band.

I have heard all of their albums and I enjoy every song consistently.

If you haven't heard them I would recommend them, very atmospheric Funeral Doom. with extraordinary heavy vocals by Pasi Koskinen, and a female clean vocalist.

My favorite song by them is probably "Woundheir" or "Sylvan Night".

shape of despair is amazing, i remember buying a cd by them because i thought the song names were cool, it opened a whole new perspective on atmospheric music for me.
"sleeping murder" is the shit, brutal as fuck and beautiful as can be.

Funeral Doom is supposed to be slow and somewhat monotonous. If you are looking for dance music you picked the wrong genre :Smug:

Do all SOD albums contain heavy use of keys? The one album I have from them has lots of keys and some female vocals. I kinda think if they ditched the chick and synths, they'd be better.
