Hi everyone, my first post so not really sure as to where this thread should go but anyway...
I've been trying to get a reasonable drum sound with my equipment and gave recording a shot yesterday. This has been my second attempt at recording drums so far.
Here's the clip Drum Test
Details: I used a cheap set of CAD mics to record the kick, snare and two toms. Overheads were Behringer C2s. I blended the kick with a sample and did the same with the snare - toms are all replaced.
I would just like some general feedback and any tips to make it sound better, particularly on getting a punchier snare (which im guessing needs a bit of EQ and extra compression).
