I think I already know the answer but not 100%
A music shop near me has a rev g 2 channel.
I know the guy who manages the place so he would probably do a trade for me.
I am getting a good sound from the 3 channel but the rev g is supposed to be much better.
Whatcha think?

I owned a Rev G Dual and a Recto 4x12 in '09 and used them extensively (including on the Apex Predator EP from 2010 in my sig) - it was good, but you're Triple clips I've heard smoke anything I could ever get from mine (or indeed any of the other clips I've heard of them)

Regarding dual rectos - As much hate as the three channel heads get, I personally don't find them that bad. It's nice having three channels, too. Last time I used one, I actually liked the tone equally to what I was getting with my old two channel head. There was a subtle difference, but both sounded great.

Keep in mind, you'll find subtle differences between heads, and a lot of that can be attributed to different tubes as well.

Changing from a triple to dual may actually be a bigger difference, however. Try them out side by side if you can. The triple will have more headroom.

Thanks guys
It turns out the 2 channel is a 110V import.
This greatly affects value over here so I decided to pass.
