Shout! Shout! Shout!

I have my Metallica ones atop of my desk that I am using right now with a Metallica poster flag behind it. They are just like paintings that people put up in their homes, except I don't like paintings and I do like Metallica.

No offence meant but I never figured out what these figures are good for. What do you guys do with 'em? Put 'em on the dining table?
Get real, the dinning room?!:tickled: No, I either save them in the package or I set 'em up somewhere near my disc collection. I don't if any of you guys buy these things? I buy some of them. There will be a Slash figure coming out next spring, that one sounds kinda cool. I have the Eddie Trooper & Killers figure, they are fucking excellent!

I've got Eddie and Satan from the Number Of The Beast era on my shelf at work. I also have Jimi Hendrix complete with fender strat, and Marshall stack!

Cheers!

Actually that was just irony of mine. But still I can't make out the sense of it. When I was a little boy I had Masters Of The Universe figures and I was totally fascinated by some Kiss stickers where they still wore make-up. I suppose I would have loved a little Gene Simmons back then. But now? Just ain't my cup.

You could be right, it could have something to do with when we were kids.
They just didn't have this kind of stuff back then. I think that could be part of the appeal now. You'd buy a Dee Snider or Lemmy one if the sold it wouldn't you?!:tickled:

No, I wouldn't. I'm serious. I like all the bands they've already made figures of - Maiden, Metallica, Kiss, Ozzy, Alice Cooper... I admit that I had a curious close look when I saw some in the store but I never thought about buying them. I rather spend my money on new CDs. Besides I know how that would end. If I got one I would have to get all. It's like an addiction.

Same with me. I think they are cool as fuck but I don't need another addiction. If any I would like to have the Eddie ones but I have not even picked them up. The only ones I have are the first KISS figures he did, unopened in a box in the basement.

I do have an original Peter Criss 12" doll from the 70's though.... got that when I was about 10 years old. My brothers had a complete collection of all 4 but sold them in a yardsale without my knowledge!!!! For $1 each!!! DUMB ASSES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd go for Killers Eddie! I have always loved that cover art. But enough of this! I don't want to talk myself into anything.

I don't know about getting them all, but it could turn into another collection of
"things." :p

I will get me a Hines Ward (Steelers tackle football player) bobble-head doll in the near future for my computer desktop, but I have never been much into music memorabillia stuff except tees, posters and autographs. If they had a Wolf Hoffmann action figure... I might make an exception, but that ain't going to happen.
