Yep, that's how the police work. If someone comes to their door with the answer, they solve the case. If there's any work involved, good luck to you.

Apperantly his girlfriend send him to the cops..saying he needed to confess to this after he told her the story..

The news (as far as i watch/listen to the news) was almost constantly about this, i think it's terrible.
