hi there...recently i discovered some probs with my sidechaining in cubase /c1-gate.
i've got a recording here, where i didn't use any triggers, but just duplicated the kicktrack, shifted it like 5 ms to the front and used it as the key for the gate....
so far so good....
now the gate, no matter what releas-time, just cuts it of, so i've got a click at the end...what i want it to do is releasing slow, like a fade or so.
how do you avoid that clicks with short release-times?
