Well another new guy here
Please excuse my bad english, i didn´t use it for a few years now
but back to my question...
My Problem:
I mixed some tracks, EQed them, but can´t get the bassdrum through guitars and bass. although i did a low cut on guitars and cut the bass at 70hz (boosted it at 120hz).
Some guy in an german hobby recording forum, told my of using a sidechainer, to get the bassdrum to the front.
So is this a way which is done in an proffesional recording, or is it just faking??
would e great if some of you professionals may answer that
