It's really fucking good, but it's too bad that I'm turned off by bands like that. I have loads of respect for them and they are probably one of the best bands around, but the polyrhythms are just too claustrophobic for me. It's too cold and clinical. It's fucking awesome though. It would be good driving music.

I like the first album better song-wise even though the new one sounds better. And yes, this one loses steam eventually. And the spoken word stuff on the first one rules all.

A similar band would be Scar Symmetry. Also a good band...

Sikth is about a billion times more complex as far as arrangements and composition go.

Scar Symmetry is similiar to Soilwork and bands of that nature.
