Since I have no clue on how to post music

on this forum, could you explain it to me in laymans terms how to do it, the all knowing Old School? I have been rummaging through all my recordings and found some goods.. Mind you the one band that I am going to post has *gasp should I even say it*....turntables on it. It shows my skills on drums basically because they wanted me to go off and I did. It's pretty much nu-metal bullshit but my drumming is very good on it if I do say so myself. You guys will be able to hear the end result tomorrow ( granted if I can figure out how to post it) Basically some buddies of mine lost their drummer a week before going into the studio and I came to their rescue and laid down the tracks. They threw a tape at me and told me to learn there old drummers beats. I not only learned them, I fucking blew them out of the water. The guy was a horrible drummer. I don't care at all for their band( or music), hence the reason I am not in it, but jamming with new people is always fun and a new experience so I said basically wtf. Plus I got to record in a studio for the first time. So why not? I am also going to post some shit I did with my buddy who raps(jeez you guys probably want me banned from the board already). I promise the rap is totally different then typical shit you hear on mtv or anything for that matter. Plus he brings a whole band with him when he plays out. So it's not the typical 2 turntables and 2 jackasses rhyming so it's a fun show. I play all styles is basically what I am saying...So throw whatever style at me and I am sure that I can lay down the drums for it. I am a metal head that doesn't discriminate when it come to playing. But don't get me wrong either I am not some nu-metal listening wigga though..I love real metal not korn and limp dickshit or any of that crap. Slayer, Lamb of God, Dillinger Escape Plan, Refused, Sepultura, SOD, Helmet, Melvins, Sabbath, old Machine Head, Faith no More, Nailbomb, Pantera and Corrosion of Conformity are just a few of the bands that I love.

Dude some rap is alright. Mind you only a small amount. I like true artists. I don't totally hate on rap. I recently got into this dude Necro. He raps about things only a true metal fan would know and he has street cred as far a rapping goes. Its just pure evil. Its makes Eminem sound like mother goose.He does songs with Dan Lilker ,Hatebreed and Obituary.He rhymes about the coolest shit. He was actually guitar player in the late 80's. He played death metal.You really have to here it to beleve it. And its not like that cheesy death rap group that came out a few years back.later brothers.

I hear ya Bobo, rap is okay in small doses but thats it. My buddy is pretty unique, he freestyles alot and can basically come up with all kinds of cool shit off the top of his head...He's pretty amazing. I have jammed with him alot and once he was just rhyming off of a National Geographic at a show I played with him. It was so crazy but extremely cool at the same time. The guy doesn't even stutter or anything when he is freestyling, he is just so fluid about it. He is not some jerkoff "gangsta rappa" either so its not like he is like Suge Knight and yelling "Fuck G-Unit" anytime he can get. Its just different is all I can say. I don't know you will have to just give it a listen to hear what I am talking about.


Oh yeah I have tried to buy the Necro album you keep raving about but it is always high priced(like 15-20 dollars) and thats a bit much for me to spend on rap no matter how good it is. So when I can find it decently priced I will definitely buy it and tell you what I think of it Bobo.

Dude why do you apologize? You say you kicked ass on that tracks. I don´t have anything against turntables and raping, as long as it is good music. I think lots of people who are into this thing are posers who don´t know what music is about, but it doesn´t mean the music itself sucks ass. Lots of metal bands are as crappy as shit, does it mean metal sucks? No. In fact, this should be pretty good damn thing to play with! I mean the turntables. When you lay down some fucking good groove, what´s the problem? Post the music, I´m all thrilled!

Well, since I am a absent minded retard, it will yet again have to wait.. I have been pulling fourteen hour days so I won't be so swamped when I get back from the holiday's. So needless to say I have been a little tired in the morning and I forgot to bring the cd...SORRY!! but don't fear it WILL get posted sometime next week, I promise.

I will never apologize for my music. My theory on the whole matter is if you can do better than show me. As you have seen from some of the retards that have came here posting those stupid reviews on Billy's site. Alot of people are just idiots that have zero clue on how hard it is to come up with original matieral and the whole process of making music. I am real good friends with the guitarists and bass player. I don't however see eye to eye with the singer...He is pretty phony and thats what I meant as my description. He pretty much jumped on the nu-metal bandwagon and sold out so the music is more appealing to the Hot Topic mall core kids. The rest of the guys are very good musicians and could do just fine w/o the singer I absolutely LOVE playing with the rest of the guys whenever I can get a chance to but for the most part I never get to jam with them alone. The singer is just an egomaniac(well I am also to a certain degree) so between me and his ego, alot of fights happened over the course of the recording.. So if it wasn't for the singer I would have joined for sure....Well actually I take that back because they want to do this full time and I just am not willing to do that..I have a good job that has a nice steady paycheck with good benefits. The uncertainty of being in a band full time just does not appeal to me. I honestly play music because I love to.

I know exactly what you mean, I used to play in a band where I just couldn´t stand the guitarist, we fought all the time and in the end I had to tell him that´s either me or him and I didn´t want to cause the problems so I quit, then the asshole told everyone (and the rest of the band) that he´d fired me coz I´d been a bad drummer, so I had to get to him and tell the fuckup that he´d better learn how to tune his guitar for the next time and fuck off. Well in here it´s basically impossible to make ends meet playing music, so I am pretty much on the same level-I love playing drums and I´ll never stop doing it (well never say never you know), but I do it only as a hobby.
And btw do you have any band right now, MyHate...?
