"Hello everyone,

We regretfully announce that at the present time we have all sites turned off on the server due to a hacker surge. Most of you are probably aware that Saddam Hussein was executed this evening. As we speak Iraqi/Iranian based hackers are attacking across the Internet and defacing web sites with trojan loading HTML pages.

In an attempt to prevent any malicious virus downloads, and to repair the pages, we are forced to turn off all sites while we work to resolve this issue. In the 7 years of hosting web sites for our clients we have never had to take such an action, and apologize for having to do so this evening. Please know that we will work through the night to resolve this issue, and please feel free to contact us online with any questions."

Wonderful news to wake up to. :)

The TV show 24's DVD sets have finally gotten really cheap here so we're on a binge watching them. Season 1 SUCKED, season 2 SUCKED HARDER, yet I was suckered into watching season 3, which was MUCH BETTER to the point of being decent. We just started season 4.

It is fairly interesting that the show is all about the "heroes" just ignoring the rights of everyone in existence (torturing and killing suspects in interrogation is very common, as a matter of course in both field work and by direct authority of the President... not to mention holding US citizens without access to a lawyer, being told "YOU HAVE NO RIGHTS"... this sort of thing) because "that's what you need to do", while the people in the government who seek to follow some sort of procedure are portrayed as incompetent pencil-pushers who are really helping the terrorists by their inaction. And when a "good guy" does get held responsible for going outside of regulations, it is seen as a complete failure of the system to reward their efforts.

But hey, that Jack Bauer guy sure shoots a lot of them foreigners, so he's A-OK!

These are all reasons why I can't bear to watch the show
