Skid Row

Neat thread!

'18 & Life'
'Wasted Time'
'Subhuman Race'

Man, I love Bch's vox... hum, will have to think about this... but defo including 18 and a life and wasted time... Bach has the perfect voice for ballads :worship:

Dunno. But they're playing my little town tomorrow night and I'm thinkin' of going. My stepson's uncle owns the joint they're playing and one of the guys I work with usually does the sound there. Then again, maybe I'll just stay home and watch some movies...:erk:

I guess I like the "hits."

"Youth Gone Wild"
"Slave to the Grind"
"18 and Life"

The band had a GREAT sound, but hit the scene right after '80's metal peaked. They still did ok ... I remember them on SNL one night. But it was weird seeing them on SNL in a way because grunge was becoming big and Skid Row was one of the last "hair metal" type bands that SNL had.

They were more aggressive than most "hair metal," but still a little too straight up (not thrash, not power metal, etc) to be labeled much of anything else.

OK... my 3rd pick is also a ballad... QUICKSAND JESUS! :worship:

btw... how is the new singer? I never had the heart to check him out since I love Bach's vox so much

In A Darkened Room
Into Another
Bonehead

no hits for me, thanks...:headbang:

Subhuman Race was my favorite album, believe it or not. It is soooo underrated.

I dont consider Skid Row a Hair Metal band more of a straight up Metal Band!!!

Too many to choose from. The entirety of Slave to the Grind is just classic!

Totally agreed!!

I was just going to start a Skid Row thread. Kinda weird...:err:

Off the top of my head, I'd say...

"Quicksand Jesus"
"Monkey Business"
"Breakin' Down"

Great band that went into the toliet way too fast. And that new singer is just not them.
