Skyline performed at the 2024 edition of Germany’s Wacken Open Air festival. WakenTV has shared the video below, which includes their performance of AC/DC’s “If You Want Blood (You’ve Got It)”, and Journey’s “Wheel In The Sky” featuring Anthrax frontman, Joey Belladonna.
Skyline started out as a cover band, was part of the lineup of the first Wacken Open Air in 1990 and had Wacken founders Thomas Jensen on bass and vocals and Andreas “Gösy” Schlüter on drums. Gösy left the managing team of the festival in the 90s, but returned with Skyline in 2009 to open the main stages on the festival’s Thursdays with various guests ever since.
