Skynet @ Work

So, as most of you probably know, much of what I do at work is Research and Development for defense related contracts.

NASA donated a huge cluster to Drexel, which was allocated to my workplace.

It ended up being 5 huge racks of servers and some smaller individual servers.

We're trying to decide on a name for it. NASA called it "Thunderhead." Some people at my work want to call it Hurricane to keep the name in-line with NASA's original name. Some folks call it NOS (acronym for Nasa's Old Shit).

My vote is for Skynet.

(Vince, you may recognize the background of those pictures as the parking lot next to my old apartment.)

WTF dude! No one understands that THIS is where the end begins. I might die fighting those things, but I swear one day you will all look back and say "shit, he was right"

It's start with an innocent server, or rack there of. Next thing you know it's curtains.

I think kris said it best. This was in response to sara telling kris the wii was observing him. This is roughly what he said.

"you know what you do if they become self aware? *unplugs wii*"
