I just bought the new Slayer DVD "Still Reigning" and it kicks soooo much ass!! The sound is great and the songs are not interrupted by interviews or other shit!

I just wish you could choose to view the bonus tracks right after the main concert. You have to go back to the main menu and choose "Bonus Tracks".

O well, there's always somethings more to wish :)

The images are very cool also. Alternating between black and white and color shots. And there's a really nice lady that will blow you a kiss  .

Just keep watching...

SLAYER RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't fucking wait for their new album. I am pretty damn sure it will REIGN!
And I hereby nominate Slayer for the Old School Forum 20 years Kick Ass Hall of Fame!

Abryl are you still there?

I'm keeping an eye out for this DVD, it's the entireity of Reign In Blood that clinches it for me (of course!). The new album...ugh...I want to buy it, cos I have them all, but if it's going to be more of the last two albums, it'll get listened to once and then gather dust. Pity.

Well, its just a feeling I have about the new album. I could be very wrong of course but;

First there was the statement of Hanneman, I believe, that there was not a slow song on the new album. Also, they started playing "Reign in Blood" completely during their live gigs. I got the impression that this was some sort of warming up before recording the new fast album.

Now all of this is speculation humungis!

Lets just say I am optimistic because of certain signs I think I am perceiving :)
We'll have to wait and see. But it looks to me that with the addition of Dave, Slayer is back to its old school roots!

It is a great DVD. Rocking all the way through. I would've liked to have seen the WHOLE gig thought, not just the RIB part. Because I know they didn't just play those 10 songs. The set was almost identical to the Jager tour.

Exactly my feelings. Thats why I said it was a shame you have to go back to the menu to see the rest of the tracks. Let alone the rest of the gig thats not on the DVD.

Nice to hear that they pulled it off
I can't wait to get my hands on it!
It sucks that they didn't put the rest of the show on there though.

Hawk, I didn't know you were a Slayer fan!

One thing I have heard about this video is that at the end they all get covered in blood. Is that cool or what??? How does that look? Awesome? As a Gene Simmons devotee I am instantly sold on any band that spews blood in any form! haha Remember when WASP was cool and Blackie drank blood from the skull??? Ah, those were the days.....

I'm very skeptical of these claims, but it would be such bliss if it were true.
