SLAYER ... all fucking day

I used to love KNAC when it was the on the radio. Haven't paid much attention to the internet site though.

I don't think it would be possible to listen to only one band all day. sayin'.

boring.
Dude you can barely get through an entire album half the time. :loco:

I've done tribute days. When Dimebag died I had a few Pantera-only days, and Kyuss-only, Danzig-only, and Tool-only days happen every now and then.

The new Slayer song WOULD be good if they would take out the horribly done breakdowns and stop the juvenile lyrics that seem to have reached a new zenith of stupidity. And I RARELY give a shit about lyrics.

I may or may not listen to more Slayer today, but I'm on a vinyl kick right now, and I don't have Slayer on vinyl...but I do have Tankard. Hmm...

this seems quite correct ... not bad though ... it grew on me.

listened to RIB 2 times in a row on my commute to the office ... even recorded a short video which i shall upload later :loco:

I'm officially ignoring Slayer today. Granted, I've never made it through an entire Slayer disc, I don't own a single thing by them and I never listen to them. However, that arrangement has always been informal at best. But today, I'm "officially" not listening to Slayer.

I have officially started my Slayer discography run (through Decade of Aggression). The Antichrist is about the most metal song around.:kickass:
The live version on DOA is probably my favorite Slayer song evAr. So god damn intense. :kickass:

Oh yeah and just to be nitpicky I always thought that song was punk as all fuck. :loco:

Never done that, though I have attempted to listen to entire discographies in one day on occasion...on the opposite end, I've been known to avoid listening to a band I'm seeing within 48 hours of the gig (and make up for it by resuming a massive kick immediately afterwards).

When did you get there, and how are things going?

By the way, not sure if you heard about this, but Opeth is doing a one-off next week at the Troc, where they're only playing songs from their first four CDs. Shame you're going to miss that.

About 10 days ago. Drove the entire way without sleeping, stopped about 5-6 times for food & gas. At each gas station I chugged one of those Rockstar drinks. 18 hours of driving - I can't believe I was able to pull it off.

It's been pretty hectic so far trying to unpack everything, get organized, registered in the area, etc. But things have been moving forward and that's all I can ask. My internet's up and running (obviously), but they have to come back out and put the wire underground so it's protected from windstorms and alligators, LOL.

Yeah, and as an ultra exclusive, I heard Immortal are reforming and headling the show in addition to Amon Amarth opening and performing all the songs included on their "Wrath of the Norsemen" DVD.
