Members of SLAYER, MACHINE HEAD, RANCID, DEATH ANGEL, FORBIDDEN and VIO-LENCE will perform at the Robb Flynn Birthday Bash on Saturday, July 23 at the Oakland Metro Operahouse in Oakland, California. The all-star jam will consist of old-school metal, glam, punk, and hip-hop covers from the '70s, '80s and '90s played very sloppily by drunken participants. Tickets are available for purchase at this location. MACHINE HEAD released a brand new single, titled "Is There Anybody Out There?", on June 3. "The song is about love, loneliness, racism, and not getting what is going on in the world/America," commented Flynn. "It's very much about current events, but applies to a bigger picture." "Is There Anybody Out There?" was made available digitally for purchase on iTunes, Amazon and Google Play, and is also available on Spotify, Apple Music, and all streaming services. The track, which was recorded last October at Trident Studios in Martinez, California, was produced by Flynn and co-produced and mixed by Joel Wanasek. "Is There Anybody Out There?" marks MACHINE HEAD's first new release since the arrival of the band's latest album, 2014's "Bloodstone & Diamonds", which sold around 18,200 copies in the United States in its first week to debut at position No. 21 on The Billboard 200 chart.
