I agree this was a great album, their best IMO. It had elements of all the previous albums--the speed of RIB, the mid tempo of SOH, etc. Great album. Its still remarkable to me that 3 of the big 4 released their best albums within a year of each other--Anthrax POT, Megadeth RIP, and Slayer SITA

Slayer fans should check out the great new thrash band Suicidal Angels.

There's 3 minutes of my life I can never get back. Music was good but the singer is awful. That seems to be the thing over recent years though, great music from alot of bands, but horrible shit ass vocals.

I really couldnt get into DI, the only part of that album I actually like is the solo from the track divine intervention--easily the best solo on a Slayer album (aside from most on Seasons). I would rank RIB and Hell Awaits in my top 3 after Seasons

Seasons is easily my fav Slayer album simply because it's the one where they actually found some room for some melody.

Dead Skin Mask is the song that got me into Slayer actually and the title track is just killer.

SPOT ON!!! It's also one of the most `melodic' songs they've ever done too. Melodic for Slayer that is ;-)

Holy hell is Reign in Blood overrated. Christ Illusion is my #2.

i tend to agree for the most part, there are like 3 really good songs on that album and the rest are ok. but keep in mind at the time there was nothing else like it
