The nominees in the "Best Metal Performance" category are as follows: ANTHRAX - "Neon Knights" Track from: "Ronnie James Dio - This Is Your Life" Label: Rhino MASTODON "High Road" Track from: "Once More 'Round The Sun" Label: Reprise MOTÖRHEAD "Heartbreaker" Track from: "Aftershock" Label: UDR SLIPKNOT "The Negative One" Label: Roadrunner Records TENACIOUS D "The Last In Line" Track from: "Ronnie James Dio - This Is Your Life" Label: Rhino The main nominations for the 57th annual Grammy Awards will be announced tonight by The Recording Academy when the TV special "A Very Grammy Christmas" airs at 9 p.m. on CBS. This year's Grammy Awards process registered more than 20,000 submissions over a 12-month eligibility period (October 1, 2013 - September 30, 2014), of which 17,144 remained valid. Final ballots will go out on December 17, 2014, and will be due on January 16, 2015. After the final tabulation of votes, winners' names in 83 categories in 30 fields will remain confidential in sealed envelopes until the 57th annual Grammy Awards.
