Gabrielle, the 22-year-old daughter of SLIPKNOT percussionist M. Shawn Crahan (a.k.a. Clown), died on Saturday, May 18 at the age of 22. No cause of death has been revealed. Crahan announced his daugher's passing in a social media post earlier today. He wrote: "It is with a broken heart, and from a place of the deepest pain, that I have to inform all of you that my youngest daughter, Gabrielle, passed away yesterday - Saturday May 18th, 2019. She was 22 years old. Funeral arrangements will be forthcoming. My family and I ask that our privacy be respected moving forward. Thank you." Gabrielle was one of four children Crahan had with his wife, Chantel, whom he married in June 1992 in Des Moines, Iowa. Gabrielle and Chantel joined Crahan on the red carpet of the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, California back in January 2014. Photos can be found at this location. Gabrielle's death came just one day after SLIPKNOT performed two new songs on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" The band's sixth album, "We Are Not Your Kind", will be released on August 9 via Roadrunner. SLIPKNOT is scheduled to go to Europe next month before embarking on the "Knotfest Roadshow" headline tour in North America this summer.
