Yeah man cool bands one and all but what did you think to the new Slough Feg, happy they more or less reverted to the norm or disappointed that Atavism wasn't a continuation of Traveller?

Atavism is a great album, there's no need comparing it to Traveller IMO.
While everybody goes Travellers this and that when TLWSF is concerned, my personal fav would be Down Among The Dead Men. But the rest of their catalog is so great and underrated...

I am interested in this band. I downloaded a song off of Traveller and it sounds pretty good. Unfortunately none of the sites I order from regularly have the Avatism album. That's the one I want to get based on reviews. They need a better label with better distributorship...nothing on Amazon, CDUniverse, The End, or anywhere else I've looked.

They are actually well aware how difficult it is to get one of their CDs.
Try contacting them personally or search eBay...

Drat, downloading isn't really an option for me right now. I'm stuck on shitty dial up until the end of the summer so I guess I'll have to wait. Thanks for the info though!

Good to see the support. I wasn't comparing Atavism to Traveller really, all their albums are excellent but as has been said already, they are damn hard to find.

Well, I'm hitting the road for the summer in less than two weeks so I can't risk ordering from anyone new. If it got here late, wouldn't be anyone to pick it up until September! But thanks for the info J-P, it was pretty cool to see one of my old fave classics on that site (including an mp3), OZ - Fire In The Brain.

Just as a note, I AM from your neck of the woods, and I love those guys. I tell them every time I see them in a bar or something, "You guys are world class and deserve to be huge!" They are all cool, though I don't know them per se. Only that I talk to them at the shows. Seems to me they are overdue for one in fact. I haven't heard the new album yet, but didn't know it was out admittadly. Traveller was awesome.
