Slovenian all-female heavy metal band HELLCATS has released a video for the new single "Demon Dreams". The clip was made in collaboration with one of the best Slovenian video/movie directors, Predrag Rajcic Perica. Filming took place in Ljubljana's forests, which in the cold and dark days proved to be the right place to deal with the demons. "Demon Dreams" was released in both the Slovenian and English languages, since the girls have a lot of fans not only at home but all over the world. At the end of April, HELLCATS will be touring Germany and will finally visit the German fans who have faithfully supported them from the beginning.HELLCATS is reportedly the first all-female heavy metal band Slovenia. The band was formed in 2006 in Ljubljana by sisters Sasha Zagorc (bass) and Sonja Zagorc (drums), who started to perform together in their childhood while they were still at music school. Sasha was studying classical guitar and Sonja flute. Later on, Sonja switched to drums and they formed a band. Due to the small size of the Slovenian music scene, it was not easy to find female musicians. After a few band member changes, the HELLCATS lineup was completed by Katja Mavec (guitar) and Ajda Kovacic (vocals).In early 2010, HELLCATS released their first single, "Heavy Metal", which appeared on their "Hellcats" EP the following year. Their second single, "Master Of The Night", was helmed by Davor Kontic and Grant Austin, known as producer of the band LAIBACH. Both songs appear on the "Warrior Princess" album, which was independently released by HELLCATS at the end of 2013 and distributed via CD Baby and iTunes. Two versions of the album were released English and Slovenian. Dasa Makuc later replaced Kovacic on vocals after the release of the album.The quartet loves to perform on big stages and has had many gigs in clubs and participated at many festivals (Metalcamp, Viva la Pola, Jelen Demofest) to crowds of up to 12,000 people.
