Just came home from the Chinese theater. Saw Snakes on a Plane... Great B movie pretending to be nothing more than a B movie and having lots of fun in the process. Just about ever horror cliche happens here and Mr. Jackson has a ball. I heard that the famous line was actually submitted by fans and was reshot recently with the studio's agreement... Now THAT'S power . Go forth and check it out. Be sure not to go into it expecting to be enlightened, it is an irreverent good time

Yup, websites prompted them to go back and reshoot 1 1/2 weeks, to get the film to an R rating and to add the famous line.

I've been waiting for this film since January, and I'm finaly gona go see it today, my birthday

According to Harry Knowles, this film had the mighty Bruce Campbell attached at some point in its development... Would have been nice to see him. What's a B movie without The Chin?

Oh yeah, that would have been perfect. The Sexual Harrasment waiting to happen pilot. The Chin... I can see it. However, definitely, Sam Jackson owned it. If the Chin had been in the movie, would probably have ended up on Sci-Fi Channel Saturdays (Alien Apocalypse?)
I still contend that Bruce would have been perfect as the action-hero actor in Peter Jackson's King Kong...

Yeah, it would have been cool to see Bruce Campbell in this movie. Another guy they missed out on casting was Clint Howard. I was expecting him to be the guy out in the desert who's breeding the exotic snakes. He would have been perfect for that part. Great movie otherwise.....
