Yeah, great record!
The second CD is a masterpiece. Too bad that you get too much from the first CD on the second CD. It makes the whole record too repetitive.
I beleive that Spock' s Beard has a lot of experience on concepts. The Great Nothing or The Healing Color Of Sound were mini-concepts, which were grand-masterpiece.
The whole Snow album, is a grand concept, which is a mini-masterpiece.
Maybe if they fitted the whole album in one CD it would have been perfect.
I really like it. Its very different in many parts for The Beard. Only 2 listens so far. I almost cried reading the book and seeing the dialogues.
"The Light" the song is my fav Concept song they have done. The "Senior Velasco" section I enjoy..and the ltd edition SNOW has a live abridged acoustic version of "The Light" which is cool.
