So yea, I picked up a few cymbals for X-mas, and got a nice one today:

Sabian

AA Metal-X Crash 16"
AA Metal-X Crash 18"
HHX Evolution Splash 12"

So fellow drummers, how did I do? Next to go is my hats, then a nice nifty China, and prolly a gimpy wuhan china and I'll be set for cymbals for a while =)

i have "gimpy" wuhan china, 12". sounds awesome, really deep wash to it, and i love the hand-hammered look and feel to it. personally, i use paiste...don't know why, but i like 'em. anyone else use 'em?

My drummer just got a "gimpy" 12-inch Wuhan China, I think it sounds sweet for certain uses.

i shouldnt post on here, lol. but those are some nice cymbals. get some pics! those gimpy wuhans sounds pretty nice. my friend has 1 on his set and it goes well with his other cymbals (zildjian/sabian). paiste's own. if i wasnt so heavily into sabian's i know i'd be using paistes. danny carey from tool does, if that makes any difference. theres definately more ppl that do, but he's all i can think of right now. they sound good.

I think you did very well there! I have the 16" and 18" AA Metal-X crashes too. I would be carefull with the Evolution splash though, they are very thin. Sabian has some great cymbals. Can't wait to see what that new Vault line they are coming out with for 2005 will be like!
