My bro brought over a 6er of SLO Blueberry, then we split I think 4 big beers. Some form of English Porter, a Dirty Elf (something like that), Hobgoblin Ale, and some other weird ale with some weird name like Foiekl.2

The English porter was EXCELLENT, the rest were okay. Maybe it was 6, I'm thinking something chocolate was around.

Jameson gets the job done. I'm more into scotch than Irish whiskey, but the whole whiskey family is certainly my friend.

I'm a Gaelic whore with my whiskies. I love Scotch, but Irish is my general drink. don't have to spend a fortune, can kill a half a bottle without feeling financially guilty, and I like it. though I'll often find myself listening to Skyclad when I drink a lot of it.

The Pogues work great with whiskey too. And yeah, for the price, Jameson is hard to beat.
