So Mel's new band is playing Oct 18th in Pomona!!!

I just visited Melz Homepage (mel.raven-mad.com), and noticed that Crescent Shield is playing in Pomona (at Friar Tucks) on the 18th of October...

As I often do when such events occur, let me say a big

Ah, shit! That means I'm out. Actually, there's all kinds of shows going on that night, including Kiss/Aerosmith, King Diamond and Primus (which I already have tickets for).

I have seen Kiss once and they were great and that's enough. I personally dislike Aeroesmith since the 80's. I would love to see King Diamond, but rather see Mercyful Fate. Primus would be cool to see. All in all though, I would have to say Crescent Shield would be a close second to see on that night, given the option. Since I have no options for that night, I have no clue what I'll be doing.

Wish I could go to this show... Crescent Shield is going to kick ass!

There's mega talent involved here... not to mentioned contacts in the metal industry established by Onward, Destiny's End and our very lovely Mel.

Can't wait to catch the next show... that's a bad date for me. We had to pass up playing on the bill ourselves... cause of Sammy Hagar and Kind Diamond?
