So The Legacy inlay says 'Warning - Explicit Lyrics'

The only thing I can think of is that in the 80's those lame parent and christian moral groups considered the word hell explicit lyrics.Thank god those groups have all had scandals to bring them out as the hypocrites they were!....ah the 80's so innocent hahahaha!

It wasn't always about language, but content. So if the lyrics were considered dark, or evil etc, it was enough to get the tag. Those labels usually helped bands sell albums so if anything it didn't detract from sales.

Probably has something to do with Over The Wall aswell. :lol:

"Oh noes!! A criminal breaking out!1111 This can have an influence on someone"... I have one word for it;

BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

I don't know if that really affects the selling of albums, but for some bands this could be true but I don't think about Testament in this case, it's pure underground- I believe that not every(new-school) Metal fan knows about "The Legacy"´..

Same goes for Savatage album - Fight For The Rock, which is surely their least agressive album - actually the word benign would suit it better and yet it had an explicit lyrics sticker slapped on it...by the band because it was cool at the time and helped sell albums!
