R.I.P Chuck!

Just started listening to Symbolic now. Already listened to Fragile Art Of Existence and Sounds Of Perseverance.

You beat me to starting this thread. Chuck is still one of my favorite guitarists. I also listened to Fragile Art of Existence and Symbolic the other day not realizing how close the anniversary of his death was. I think I will listen to Individual Thought Patterns and Sound of Perserverence today, and possibly watch DEATH/LIVE IN L.A. tonight. "LET THE METAL FLOW".

I think Sound of Perseverance shall be the cd taken to work today then. I play a cd a day between going to work, coming home for lunch, returning to work, and coming home again.

I was riding an exercise bike for the last 90 minutes and I listened to ITP (again) and Sounds Of Perseverance. I'll just pick out randomly what to watch or listen to next while I type up my review of ITP.

A few years ago, the joke was: "You prayed when Chuck Schuldiner had cancer. You prayed when Chuck Billy had cancer. You prayed that you're name wasn't Chuck".

Think I might put on Sounds Of Perseverance on tonight.
One of the greatest albums ever written and a fitting tribute to what Chuck went through only to be struck down again.

Rest in peace, brother. :kickass:
