the German film based on Hitler's secretary Traudl Junge's memoirs.

Some of youse 'mericans might be put off by the subtitles but I found the film to be engrossing; of course, I am a total "end of the third reich/eastern front" reader.

The guy who picks up our backup tapes told me about it and that he got his copy from blockbuster, and I found a used copy at Hollywood Video, so its pretty well distributed.

and goddam, where Magda Goebbels sedated her six kids, and then coldly busted cyanide capsules in their mouths, one by one....jeebus.

Nah, but I read the book it was based on. Interesting stuff.

what was interesting is it incorporated not only the recollections and memoirs of people who were there, but also images from photos I have in some of my books, i.e., the dead woman in the armored vehicle, and one of hitler's last visits above ground, when he gave the iron crosses to the hitlerjugend.
