So who's going to see Joey Belladonna tonight?

yeah, I gotta work late, but I don't think he'll go on until after ten. I got a ton of shit for him to sign. Plus he kinda mentioned me in an interview, so I wanted to thank him.

last time I saw him, he was opening for W.A.S.P so it wasn't a full set. most likely some old school Anthrax tunes, and then a few from his first and third records. Did you get the new one? I think it's pretty slammin'.

He played madhouse, sweet leaf, A few of his own tunes ( I don't know which ones). Took requests and busted out In my world, Caught in a mosh, Indians, Metal Thrashing Mad, I am the law a few others that I forgot. And closed with NFL. All in all a great show and he has become one hell of a drummer. He hit almost every note perfectly and was in great form. I chated with him after the set and the dude was really cool and down to earth. My only complaint was there was only about 35 to fourty people there tops. I did pick up his new solo cd and its not bad. I will say he played the fastest version of In my world that Ive ever heard. Funny thing I should mention, Hate Breed was plaing next door at the Chance and I swear to god the oldest person there looked 15. Did I look that young when I got into Punk, metal and Hardcore? Fuckin kids, the youth is wasted on the young.

yeah, it was a great show. the Sabbath tunes were great. We hung out with him later and he signed a bunch of stuff for me. Totally cool guy to chat with. When I arrived, he was hanging with people watching the opening act. I thought that was classy to show the support.

yeah, he did NFL, Caught in a Mosh, Madhouse, In My World, Indians, Metal Thrashing Mad, a few Sabbath Covers and two of his own Blunt Man and Never Safe. I think there was a few more Thrax tunes in there, but he mixed it up. His banter between the songs is great, he always has a good story or two.
