SOAD's first album is SOADamn good

don't much care for system of a down's newer stuff but i blew the dust off the s/t recently and man am i glad it escaped the long-ago purging of the nu-metal from my collection. it's a pretty easy/light listen to my ears, good driving music...and it's just damn weird, in the best possible way. man, serj used to be such a cool vocalist! what happened to all the weird little voices, yelps, chuckles etc?

Their debut was the best, but I also liked Toxicity. The newer stuff is only ok.

S/T is a good drunken album, a mate and I got pissed once and made boritoes and in the process was listening to the track "war" and changed the lyrics to the chorus too "we will makes buritoes"
good times.
