Let’s talk about their openers “The Lovebombs”… WE are The Love Bombs (TM) & have been for a few years before Julian Ness decided to take the name in anticipation of this tour. We get that it’s a cool name, but it’s already ours! We’re asking them to go back to their original name “Julian James & The Love Bombs,” but so far all communication from us has been ignored.
Why choose an opener who has to recently appropriate another punk band’s name, has no music to share & barely an online presence? We, on the other hand, have been playing countless shows under the name since ‘21 (they’ve played one), have an album released on all platforms & have registered for the trademark. We believe we’ve proved our right to the name, what gives them the right to take it???
Don’t Bad Religion & Social Distortion fans deserve better???
