Soilwork referred to as a 'Norwegian Black Metal band' on Australian TV show *Video*

I've never seen a show dedicated to metal that didn't suck except this show called Loud on Fuse (MuchMusic at the time). All they did was play metal. No gay ass commentary or embarrassingly annoying interviews.

Spicks and Specks can be quite funny sometimes, but also pretty cringeworthy. Myf is cool, so I will forgive her lack of metal knowledge.

I don't mind Myf or Spicks and Specks either. I just found it quite funny (and cringeworthy) that she got both the genre and the nationality of a band wrong. Probably just watched that documentary with Gaahl and had heard of Soilwork as a band and decided that the two go together.

I have to admit; I did get a good laugh out of Alan's 'I'm more Prog Metal' comment :D

S+S isn't dedicated to metal, more of a classic rock/ music history oriented show. Just that they happened to have a metal drummer as a guest this ep, thus why metal was the genre being discussed.

That guy has done standup in Sweden, even wearing the same Nifelheim shirt.

Spicks And Specks is rubbish for the most part. Rockwiz is a much better show.

Yeah Rockwiz is definitely better, it's a great concept having the solo performances and duets. These are some of my favourites...

BTW - Steve Lucas is a dead ringer for Tom G Warrior.
