Hello all,
yesterday one good guy reamped guitars for another song. Guitars had recorded on ENGL e530 and then reamped on MESA f30 with Yerasov 112 cab. Some condencer mic have used for reamping. Drums - Superior 2.0. Bass - Hardcore Bass XP.

I tried to do another (better) drum sound, so, in this another Superior 2.0 preset.

What do you think about this guitar tone? About drums? And a whole mix with its atmosphere?

I like! The drums sound pretty good for Superior2.0 - usually most stuff that comes out of that thing sounds like a dead fish hitting a frying pan, but it just goes to show, it's not about the tools, but the person using them!

I like the guitar tone. So the guitars are just the mesa f30 with the 1x12 cab? What do you think of the amp? I own a mesa f50 with a genz benz gflex 2x12 cab but my amp is broken and I need to get it fixed. This clip inspires me to get the damn thing finally fixed after a year.

the massive bass drum is killing the guitar, take some bottom out of the drum room/reverb, tightern up that kick.

The overheads sound like, well thin, weak and too compressed.

Seems to be lacking bass guitar, that kick takes up alot of space in the mix.

I completely agree with the above... I think it's the whole drums, snare included that are WAY too dominant in this song.
