So, the new album came out recently and I was wondering what you guys thought of it? I have my copy but I haven't had a chance to listen to it yet. Does it meet the standards of old Scar Symmetry?

It is absolutely fantastic. I prefer it to SS, easily. The vocal work is incredible.

I've decided to give it a listen whilst my iPod syncs and The Close Beyond sounds pretty epic. It sounds like Christian's perfected his vocals since SS. Hope I can share your opinion about it beating SS by the end!

Christian Älvestam's vocal work is sounding absolutely incredible, I can't get over how perfect he sounds in some parts.
