It sounds good, but reverb is necessary!! I'd suggest you to put a global reverb, mixing about 20% more, to get things glued together!

I always use things on Full hall positions in EWQL.

I'm loving the songwriting, very inspiring!!

I've had a lot of problems with PLAY and I'd really rather get VSL. It seems to be more of what I want. Thanks for the recommendation though.

I tried to listen to your music but Acidplanet wasn't working for me

Dandelium-- Thanks! :D Yeah, I do like the reverb for most isntruments, but if I want a really in your face timpani or percussive brass sound, its lost in the reverb... Same with any solo instrument. It's just BATHED in reverb. Which sounds good, but... I want to be in control of how reverb goes on there.

Yeah I don't know about EW.. I got the original stormdrum about 5 years ago but had a few compatibility issues, their support was useless. I loved the samples though so picked up (MOR) 3 years ago, it was one of the first PLAY instruments.. Fucking sucked!! soooooo buggy. PLAY was so unstable and I had to wait almost 6 months for an update. Since then I have uninstalled all EW products except storndrum 2 (which seems to be stable) and picked up some VSL stuff, way better software and samples IMO. All the orchestral parts on that tune were http://vsl.co.at/en/211/261/314/1605/1277.htm
an old horizon library called Epic Horns (which I think you can download now) and Altiverb.

Sounds cool, I'd put some more percussive strikes in there and some cymbal rolls to beef it up a tad. But thats what I would do. Sounds fine now, but you could really bring it to life.
