I know everyone's familiar with Van Helsing's Curse, but are you aware that they've remastered Oculus Infernum and added two bonus tracks? One of those bonus tracks is the theme from the movie, The Lost Boys, Cry Little Sister. The Lost Boys is my all time favorite movie and I've always loved the song, Cry Little Sister. I have to say that Dee Snider and Van Helsing's Curse knocked the re-make or cover out of the park! They've done a superb job covering this cult movie classic! Check it out if you can.

Yeap I have both versions of the CD (one has different cover/artwork).

If you love VHC my HALLOWEEN show is a must not miss show. I can guarantee you I have a bunch of Halloween related Hard Rock, and Metal songs you never knew existed. This is a totally dedicated show to the Halloween Holiday. No non Halloween type music.

If you love Halloween, Horror Movies, Haunted Atmospheres, Hard Rock, and Heavy Metal......it is a show like none ever done, or ever heard before. It is about 70% completely different than my last years special.

A special start time of 6:00 PM EST, and will go to approx 10:30 PM EST.

Curious, how many people do you average listening to your show?

About 400-500 between all my syndications which is currently 16 stations via online (with CMS/Classic Metal Show, Pure Rock Radio, and MegaRock Radio being my big syndications). I am told MegaRock airs my show in St Louis MO on college dial although I am not sure about that.

I have my own stream which other stations pick up the feed. My loyals tune in via my own stream (mostly the chatters which is about 30-50 that come in my chatroom during the show).....and the rest through the various stations.

I get a lot of shit about my show......but I am here promoting and playing the stuff I am passionate about and love.

Its funny because I play stuff and then I see it mentioned here 1 or 2 months after I've already been promoting it.

:headbang:

Thanks. I was just wondering.

And when you get demos you'll get it before most people hear it. :)

No problem. It isnt Terrestial radio or anything super big but hey if 10-20 people buy the CD's I play and promote I think I've done a good job.

I've put a lot of time into this Halloween show so I am hoping some people who arent regular listeners give it a chance. I can't say enough how this show will be unlike anything heard on any show in the past when it comes to the Halloween season.

I'll try to put up a teaser clip later today using VHC along with some of the atmospheres that will be heard.

I am interested in hearing what you have in store for your Halloween show...I generally do a Halloween themed episode on mine as well (well really any holiday that comes through has a show) but Halloween is the best for metal. And Misfits/Samhain/Danzig.

If you want some ideas for 'horror' metal let me know. But you should see if you can find some Payne's Gray.

I don't wanna give the show away but for instance Laaz Rockit did a song called "Leatherface" (Texas Chainsaw Masacre), and Meliah Rage did one called "Bates Motel" (Psycho).

Thats just an quick example of the Horror Movie side of the show. There are many more plus actual Halloween lyric type songs that kick ass.

Heres a small audio teaser using some of the edits of audio (for the horror effect) and ending it with VHC as mentioned in the thread topic.

For better effect of this show its recommended it be heard with a kick ass stereo and a thumping subwoofer! :headbang::kickass:

The CDs are awesome -- but the live VHS show of Van Helsing's Curse taped in Philly / 2005 is unreal and unbeatable..... incredible rendition of the CD on stage comeplete with Mark Wood (TSO) on Viper with the Nest of Vipers joining him.

They also cover the Halloween theme song on stage and its surreal......

Just as TSO is to X-mas, Van Helsing's Curse is to Halloween.......

Unfortunately -- I believe I scoffed most or all the remaining DVDs from their website (I was told that anyway) for a whopping $5 / each at the time back in 2007.

There are some more floating around for $14 I believe - and its worth every penny...... Dee Snider joins the show as the creepy narrator from the show, and shows up in between songs to tell the story of Good vs Evil ........

Essential if you like the CD ........

I bought that myself, and I agree it is fucking awesome! Pro shot, and holy fuck does Joe's drums sound amazing!

I may have only bought 1 copy of the DVD back in 2007 but burned a backup copy, and scanned, and printed the artwork again as well for it.
