get the new dew scented album. quite possibly the album of the year. kick ass old school german thrash metal. they list the haunted as one of one of their fav bands.

thanks Bob...I'm definitely going to pick that one up. You haven't resigned yourself to getting tickets for the anaheim show have you? They HAVE to be heading down here to S.D. that week don't they? I'll obviously go up, but trying to wait a while longer...dnr.

Will agree with Omni-Bob, Dew Scented new album "Inwards", is quite good if not great, saw them at the Milwaukee Metal Fest, one of the better bands that played...........(filmed 1 song)...........
I also recommend Dimension Zero(Silent night fever) & The Crown(Crowned In Terror),& of course any album from The Haunted, for this style of music........never heard of the other bands you listed.......................Thrash on...................

I agree with Deadly, the Dew Scented is brilliant, it's straight forward kick ass thrash. The drums really remind a little bit of Lombardo style just not as dramatic and melodic but great stuff. The Dimension Zero is also very good. It's Jesper's side project from In Flames. Dimension Zero sounds like what in Flames should but, let's not get off on that again lol. Sorry had to say that.

Thanks for the recommendation. Dew-Scented is like a cross between Slayer and The Haunted. I just downloaded a few songs to give em' a listen and I think I'll actually buy this cd. Always looking for new metal to listen to that's actually good ......

death metal, kinda like the haunted. some people don't like em but I dug the vocals right away. Just buy the new album, you will be kicking yourself in the ass for days for waiting so long to pick this up. Definitely one of the top 3 releases this year
