The problem with Howard Dean is that he still thinks he's running for President. His job isn't to articulate policy. He was elected DNC chair for one simple reason, to try and earn money like he did early his campaign. However, saying over the top things might help you get somebody to send you money over the internet, but it doesn't work on the national scale.

I wouldn't be suprised if Dean isn't pushed out of the way by other Democracts closer to election time....
