But anyway, in general, how is the weather in Germany in October... I know it differs from region to region, but generally? For clothes-packing purposes!
Also, do you think that Oktoberfest is worth taking part in? I don't really care for standard tourist sheiss, preferring to meet real people and I am trying to get away from other Americans, not see more of them! But perhaps it's worth it if one can drink Radeberger and Aventinus?
If anyone knows a website or listing that might show some metal gigs in October, I'd also be greatful.
Finally- when I studied a bit of German, the instructor said that nicht is pronounced 'nikt'. I've heard some people say 'nisht'-- does it differ with the regional accent?
