Yeah, those were a lot of the bands who got lots of people back into metal in the late 90s.
Lots of that stuff was new and fresh at the time.
I still like lots of that stuff though I don't listen to it regularly, and most importantly, don't really need the physical CDs of anymore.

That's about three more Hammerfall discs than anyone really needs!

You know, I would have agreed, but then they restored my faith with THRESHOLD, and then lost it again with NO SACRIFICE NO VICTORY. It was ok, but back to the same ole' same ole'

Only HF I ever listen to now is Legacy of Kings or Renegade. I know many will boo me for this, but I never found the debut to be as earth shattering as others make it to be. Aside from the title track, most of it was always forgettable to me.

I never heard their last one.

Wow! I'm of the completely different opinion as I felt No Sacrifice, No Victory was fantastic, while Threshold bored the hell out of me. There last one just was meh and didn't make much sense to me with the zombie theme and such.

Hammerfall is one of those bands where I'm more than content with a Greatest Hits collection. Same with Edguy and Sonata Arctica. A little goes a long way.

I do really enjoy their covers album though. They picked some seriously deep cuts.

Yeah, well, the reality is that both are just what they are. Another HammerFall album that no one really needs.

I am in 100% agreement with Bob, and 100% disagreement with Justin.

Helloween has never done any wrong.

Once again..............

Helloween has never done any wrong.

Just for good measures so I know you are listening........

Helloween has never done any wrong.

The only "wrong" that I will say they did was calling the album KEEPERS PART 3.
Just wasn't necessary and was a lame marketing ploy.
Still a good album, which if kept at one CD, would have been stellar.
It was still quite good.

Gambling With The Devil and 7 Sinners are both brilliant from beginning to end.

Every BG release after Nightfall in Middle Earth has had WAY too much filler.
I still love BG, but I rarely go back to anything beyond Nightfall.
